Welcome to Piedmont Lakes Middle School and thank you for choosing Orange County Public Schools for your child's education. I am excited to be appointed Principal at Piedmont Lakes Middle School. I have 27 years of education experience in Orange County Public Schools. I am proud to have served my entire career in Apopka Area schools. Piedmont Lakes Middle School has made tremendous academic gains within the past 3 years. We owe it to our students and community to maintain that success. I look forward to the opportunity to follow the systems & procedures that have been established and develop new ones that will continue to increase proficiency levels and lower the achievement gap between our students. Piedmont Lakes Middle School offers a variety of enrichment opportunities that include the Performing Fine Arts, Future Farmers of America, Visual Arts, Digital Arts, Spanish Language Acquisition, STEM-Engineering, Informational Computer Tech, and Extracurricular Sports that include the 2023-2024 district girl's basketball champions! Piedmont Lakes Middle School stands above the rest due to the collaborative effort between our community and highly dedicated staff.
